A majority of interior painters in calgary Jobs Aren’t Completed in a Single evening (insert average Rome cliche here). Most take a few days to finish, at least. Over those days, just how Long is spent cleansing (and Re-cleaning) your paint trays, paintbrushes, rollers, and pads? Hours, at least. And these are some of the messiest, most dull hours of the whole procedure.
And it’s all completely unnecessary. Take it out of a Professional painters. You don’t need to clean all of those brushes and tools everyday. It’s a waste of materials and time.
The Trick to this time-saving process is to keep all that Paint coated and moist. That usually means keeping off air of those tools. You set a lid on your own paint and – wallah – it stays as fresh the next day as it had been when you opened it. The identical concept applies to your paint brushes brushes, and rollers.
Cover your paint trays with aluminum foil or (better yet) Plastic wrap. The”Press-and-Seal” new wrap with glue on one side is great for sealing paint up trays. Just ensure that all sides are securely sealed against air. Well sealed trays of paint can keep fresh and moist for one to two days.
Paint rollers and paintbrushes can be placed in Ziploc Just make sure you press all air out of the plastic bags and also to seal the bags together with whatever is available – painter’s tape is what I commonly use. These will also keep for a couple of days this way. If these need to be kept for at least a few days they must be wrapped up and set in the freezer. Be sure to enable the brushes & combs to thaw for several hours before re if you take this route.
At the conclusion of the interior painting job, Be Certain to Clean all paint materials promptly and thoroughly to refrain from allowing the paint Wipe and dry. This tip should save you hours on your next home painting project.
